ASL/Spanish Interpretation Services
Scentsy will provide ASL and Spanish translation or interpretation services throughout Convention upon request. This will be available for all main sessions and activities. The deadline to request this is June 30, 2011 and must be done through the registration process.

Scentsy, Inc. is not liable for any airline delays, cancellations, loss of luggage, or theft.
Scentsy, Inc. reserves the right to substitute another event location if circumstances warrant a change.
Scentsy, Inc. is not liable for any cancellation due to a Force Majeure event. Such events include, but are not limited to Acts of God, labor strikes, terrorist activities, and acts of war.
Scentsy, Inc. reserves the right to close registration early if capacity is met.
Scentsy, Inc. maintains no control over personal equipment, or operation of any air, water, or surface carrier, any transportation company, hotel, restaurant, or other person or entity furnishing services, products, or accommodations as part of the trip. These suppliers are independent contractors.
Scentsy, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, danger, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused or contributed to by:
- Any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any suppliers or any of their agents, employees, or independent contractors.
- Any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrumentality, service, product, or accommodation which is owned, operated, furnished, or otherwise used by any of these suppliers.
- Any person or entity not under the control of Scentsy.
- Any other cause, condition, or event whatsoever beyond the direct control of Scentsy, Inc.

FAQ
Q. When will registration open and close?
A. Convention registration will open on March 7, 2011 and close June 30, 2011 or when capacity is met.
Q. How much is the registration fee?
A. From March 7th to April 6th, the registration fee is $200. Starting April 7th, the fee will increase to $225. The registration fee includes all convention meetings and activities.
Q. What if a new consultant joins after the early bird pricing?
A. New consultants will be given the early bird pricing for 30 days from their enrollment date (including that day). Example: If a consultant signs up on April 12th, they will have until May 11th to register for convention and get the early bird pricing.
Q. What does the Registration Fee include?
A. The fee to attend Convention as a Consultant/Guest includes all associated training and access to all group meetings. Any free product given away at Convention is not included in the fee because it is a gift from Scentsy for attending the event.
Q. Who can attend Convention?
A. Any current consultant is eligible to attend Convention. Each Consultant may bring one guest.
Q. Who can I bring as a Guest?
A. A guest for convention can only be a spouse, domestic partner, or legal business entity partner. Guests must be over the age of 18 and may not be a Scentsy consultant.
Q. Can I register my Guest at a later time?
A. In order to add a guest after you have registered or change your current registration, you will need to log in to your Workstation and go the Events tab. Under the “my events” section, click on “edit” next to your convention registration.
Q. How do I register for Convention as a Business Entity?
A. One Consultant registration is allowed per Consultant ID Number. If you have a business partner, one of you must register as a Consultant, and the other must register as a Guest.
Q. Will I need to provide identification at the event to pick up my registration?
A. You will need to provide a valid photo I.D. to pick up your registration packet.
Q. Can another consultant pick up my free giveaways if I am unable to attend?
A. No, another consultant or guest may pick up any giveaways for you. You must be present at the event to receive any free product giveaways.
Q. Can I register at the door?
A. There will be no walk in registrations at the door for Convention. In order to attend the event, you will need to preregister online. Registration will close on June 30th or when capacity is met.
Q. Will any meals be provided during Convention?
A. No. All meals will be the responsibility of the attendees. Scentsy will allow ample time for lunch breaks. Scentsy will also provide restaurant guides and suggestions in your check-in packet.
Q. Will ASL & Spanish translation be available?
A. We will provide translation services. To request translation services, please choose the applicable language option on your convention registration.
Q. Will any transportation be available during Convention?
A. Scentsy encourages you to use your own car if possible to get to the ‘Night at the Stockyards’ on Wednesday, August 3, because of high volumes and limited bus space. If you need transportation, buses will be shuttling from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm between the Fort Worth Convention Center and the Stockyards that night. All other transportation will be the responsibility of the attendee.
Q. Will Childcare be available during Convention?
A. Childcare will be provided only during the Awards Night and Reception. You may sign up for Childcare during the registration process for an additional fee.
Payment and Cancellation
Q. Will there be a payment plan for this event?
A. There will be an optional payment plan available for Convention 2011 registration. If the payment plan is selected, a down payment of $50 will be required upon registration. The remaining balance will be divided by the number of months between the registration date and June 30. Payments will be charged on the first day of each month and the final payment will be charged on July 1, 2011.

If a payment is missed within the payment plan due to lack of funds, expired card, or any other reason, the missed amount will be added to the final payment on July 1, 2011. If the final payment on July 1, 2011 is declined, you will be contacted by email letting you know of the decline and then you must contact Consultant Support by placing a support ticket on your Workstation or you may also call Consultant Support at (877) 855-0617 by July 8, 2011 to complete the final payment or your registration for Convention will be cancelled.
Q. What is the cancellation deadline?
A. If you need to cancel your convention registration, you will need to contact Scentsy on or before June 30, 2011 by submitting a support ticket on your Workstation. The cancellation fee is $50. There will be no refunds after June 30th.
Q. How can I cancel my registration?
A. Please submit a support ticket on your Workstation. You may also call Consultant Support at (877) 855-0617. Any cancellations will be confirmed with the Consultant through a support ticket or email. There will be no full refunds for cancelled Convention registrations.
Q. Are there any exceptions for a refund?
A. Yes there are three situations for which Scentsy will consider requests for refunds after June 30, 2011. All requests will be managed by the Events Team on a case-by-case basis. If you feel your situation falls into one of the below categories, please contact the Events Team at events@scentsy.com.
- 1. Military deployment – If you receive orders to deploy, please contact the Events Team and include a copy of your deployment orders.
- 2. Death of an immediate family member – If a member of your immediate family passes away and you are unable to attend the event, please contact the Events Team with a copy of the obituary or funeral program.
- 3. Major medical emergency – If you or a member of your immediate family experiences a medical emergency, please contact the Events Team with a doctor’s detailed description of the medical emergency. Immediate family includes a spouse, child, parent, grandparent, or sibling.
Q. Can I transfer my registration to another consultant?
A. Consultants may not transfer their Convention registration to any other Scentsy Consultant during the registration time frame (March 1–June 30). After June 30, 2011 or when registration closes you will be able to transfer your Convention registration to another Consultant with the $50 transfer fee that will be charged by Scentsy to the Consultant who is transferring their ticket. All other money exchanges will need to be taken care of between the two Consultants that are transferring. Scentsy will not be responsible for any other money transactions other than the transfer fee. All giveaways transfer. Promotions do not transfer (NOTE: promotions include but are not limited to the Commemorative Warmer.)
Business Entity information
Eligible Convention attendees include a Consultant, Consultant’s Spouse, or a Consultant’s Business Entity Partner(s). A Scentsy Account may be listed as a Business Entity provided that the legal process of forming a business and receiving an EIN (Employee Identification Number) tax ID number has been completed. The Consultant is required to complete and submit the Business Entity Form located in the Resources tab of the Workstation, under the “Scentsy, Inc. Documents” link.
As found on the form, the effective date is the first of the following month in which the Business Entity Form is received by accountservices@scentsy.com. Forms must be submitted no later than June 30, 2011 for partners to be eligible to attend Convention 2011. Submitted forms must include a valid EIN as well as the signatures of all partners associated with the business.
Friends or associates who have a work agreement with a Scentsy Consultant that is not legally recognized as a business and has not been assigned an EIN are not eligible to attend Convention.
